- The long oval shape was created by increasing the front-to-back space of the EPS liner and decreasing the side-to-side space, is designed for riders with a narrow head and a more pronounced forehead.
- The VAS shield mechanism was created to improve the shape of the shell. The VAS latch captures and securely holds the shield closed to help prevent unexpected openings.
- Aside from the de-mist function, the larger latch enables intuitive and seamless shield operation.
- The VAS shield system reduces the pivot point by an average of 24 mm, making the shell surface area in the critical temple much smoother and more capable of reducing impact energy entering the helmet.
- The Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell design combines a variety of materials and techniques to provide both performance and value.
- Features QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts provide excellent air intake and exhaust performance while riding—even when the top duct's front shutter is closed, a side vent serves as an exhaust vent.
- Cheek Pads FCS® — The contoured shape cradles the face while helping to block wind noise, thanks to multiple layers of varying foam densities supported by a foam "spring."
- ES chin cover is water-repellent and removable, enhancing the egg shape of the helmet while increasing exhaust from the mouth area.
- The odor-resistant liner material prevents bacteria buildup and keeps the helmet fresher for longer.
- It includes a VAS-Max Vision (MV) shield that is compatible with the new VAS-MV Pinlock lens.
- Includes a ready-to-use Pinlock-120 lens.
