- The round oval shape, achieved by using an interior headliner that combines thicker front and rear pads with thinner side pads, is intended for riders with slightly wider heads rather than elongated heads.
- Improved Glance-Off Capability — The VAS shield system lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm, making the shell surface area in the critical temple much smoother and better able to reduce impact energy entering the helmet.
- Improved Shield Latch — The VAS latch captures and securely holds the shield closed, preventing it from opening unexpectedly.
- Aside from the de-mist function, the larger latch enables intuitive and seamless shield operation.
- QVF & QVR Intake/Exhaust Ducts — Equipped with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts for superior air intake and exhaust performance while riding.
- Even when the top duct's front shutter is closed, the side vent continues to function as an exhaust vent.
- Cheek Pads FCS® — The contoured shape, combined with multiple layers of varying foam densities supported by a foam "spring," cradles the face and helps to block even more wind noise.
- The helmet comes with a water-resistant ES Chin cover that complements the Egg Shape.
- Chin covers smooth out airflow, increase exhaust from the mouth, and reduce wind noise from below.
- The Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell design incorporates a variety of materials and techniques to provide both performance and value.
- It includes a VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield that is compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock lens.
- Includes a ready-to-use Pinlock-120 lens.
