Acerbis

Acerbis was founded by Franco Acerbis back in 1973.

Franco had a renowned career as a racer in the early 70s. During his career Franco faced some challenges and that is what inspired him to establish the company. Acerbis came into existence with NOST front fender, as Franco found that stock fenders were too short and ineffective to keep away mud from splattering and blocking racers’ vision during competition. Franco’s idea was to keep racers’ vision clear during the competition.

“I produced the first mudguards that were longer and wider than the normal ones of that time.”

At first Franco produced three of such front fenders; one for his own use, one for the local champion and the last one for selling to others. As he continued to race with the new fender in his bike throughout Europe he discovered that his invention drew attention of other racers. As they were interested for similar modification in their bike Franco produced 30 more fenders and today the Acerbis is making millions of accessories.

Nowadays Acerbis is making innovative as well as protective aftermarket accessories for the racers all across the world. Acerbis has never fallen behind in terms of passion and enthusiasm while making accessories since its foundation.
