Alpinestars turns 50
ALPINESTARS TURNS 50
Celebration includes release of anniversary book
It’s been 50 years since Sante Mazzarolo started up a small hiking and ski boot company in Asolo, Italy. Since then, Alpinestars has grown into a powerhouse manufacturer of protective products and clothing for a multitude of motorsports disciplines.
To celebrate its golden anniversary, Alpinestars hosted a giant celebration at the Petersen Automotive Museum in mid-October, an event complete with a unique display of 50 years of the company’s products, a collection of historic motorcycles and the release of the company’s 50th anniversary book.
In attendance were current company president Gabriele Mazzarolo, dozens of the brands top racers and riders, legendary powersports veterans and champs like Kenny Roberts and Mick Doohan, as well as a host of notable motorsports athletes.
